Motorola S7HD Stereo Bluetooth Headset

I got this headset to be used on a MacBook Pro. I wanted something I could use to listen to music while also talking with people via services like Skype and iChat.
Pros:
(*) Sound: you _can_ hear things
(*) Wireless: no wires, you an walk around
Cons:
(*) Mic: the biggest problem was that the mic was extremely poor. The person you call can hear the room noise as well as they can hear you – it doesn’t seem to be very directional. My caller said the built in microphone sounded better than the one in the headset. It seems to be located on the left of the headset.
(*) NONE of the buttons work on the headset with my computer. Other headsets I’ve used have let me adjust volume, but none of the buttons or knobs for the S7-HD work for me.
(*) Sound quality: the MacBook Pro doesn’t have the cool new stereo bluetooth features – so it worked, but the quality was pretty poor.
(*) I wasn’t able to get it set up so that I could use the headset for both a mic and headset. It either played music or let me talk, but not both. That makes it useless as a wireless headset.
Would I recommend this to a friend: Absolutely not.
(*Disclaimer: I have not used this on a phone – it might work great for that.)

excelente se escuchan muy bien y funcionan de maravilla con cualquier dispositivo…el unico punto en contra es que tiene poco volumen almenos para mi gusto…pero para uso diario y con equipos moviles esta bien!

Had high hopes for this…but soon realised that the fit is on the ear is lousy. The plastic ear clip is incredibly fragile. Purpose was for light gym usage…but I don’t think it’ll make the cut – looking to sell them!! Will stick to my trusty Plantronics 855!!

My first stereo bluetooth headset and I love it. Paired easily to my LG Lotus and all functionality works as advertised. Depending on your equipment, some features may not work, like forward and reverse. One of the strong features of this BT headset is the user interface. All controls are well thought out and easily mastered. Volume and sound quality is pretty darn good. It could be a tad louder (for outdoors) but it is plenty loud for me indoors. Bass is also slightly lacking. Make sure the volume is turned up on your phone as well as the BT headset. I made a call to another person and they said my voice came in loud and clear. Finally, I chose this BT headset because of the wire which connects the two earphones. I did not want a plastic wrap around the neck type because depending on the size of your neck, it could pinch and cause discomfort. The other plus with the wire is that the BT headset takes up very little space. Also, with all the content available on the net, having a decent BT headphone is a must. For the price paid, this BT headset was totally worth it!

I tried two different pairs of these and two of their predecessors, the S9HD, with my iPhone and MacBook. The sound quality when listening to music with all of them was crackly and portrayed a blown-out-speaker quality. The headphones themselves feel loose and floppy no matter how you tweak the “adjustable” earpiece. As a result, operating the controls cannot be done without the speaker units moving around uncomfortably.
